The Interrogation of Dankte
As a young Gaijin, I scoured the cosmos looking for fresh sounds to create a visual counterpart for. That's when an encounter with the mythical creature known as Dankte occured. This Orlando-based music artist has an arsenal of varying sounds from rap>rock>R&B and everything in between. We've stayed in contact since that meeting, even living together for a week and creating until we dropped. During that week, I witnessed Dankte tap in to the source and freestyle for twenty minutes over beats he had never heard before—a force to be reckoned with.
